01 Purpose

This Research Use Only Policy (“Policy”) establishes the terms, conditions, and restrictions governing the purchase, handling, storage, and use of all products sold by Southern Aminos LLC (“Southern Aminos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is a binding supplement to our Terms & Conditions and forms an integral part of every purchase agreement between Southern Aminos and its customers.

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing the sale and distribution of research chemicals and peptide compounds, and to establish unambiguous boundaries regarding the permitted use of our products.

02 Scope

This Policy applies to all products offered for sale on the Southern Aminos website, including but not limited to:

• Peptide compounds (lyophilized powder and reconstituted forms)
• Research chemicals and biochemical reagents
• Amino acid derivatives and analogs
• Solvents, bacteriostatic water, and ancillary research supplies
• Any future product categories added to our catalog

This Policy applies to all customers, regardless of affiliation, institutional status, or stated purpose of purchase.

03 Definitions

• “Research Use Only” — Intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical testing, chemical analysis, and academic or institutional study conducted in a controlled laboratory environment by qualified personnel.
• “In-Vitro” — Studies or experiments conducted outside of a living organism, typically in a test tube, petri dish, or other controlled laboratory setting.
• “In-Vivo” — Studies or experiments conducted within a living organism, including but not limited to humans, animals, and other living biological systems. This is strictly prohibited under this Policy.
• “Customer” — Any individual, entity, institution, or organization that purchases or attempts to purchase products from Southern Aminos.
• “Product” — Any item sold or distributed by Southern Aminos through any sales channel.

04 Research Use Only Declaration

By completing a purchase on the Southern Aminos website, the customer makes the following binding declarations:

1. I am at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in my jurisdiction.
2. I am purchasing products exclusively for legitimate laboratory research purposes conducted in a controlled, professional, or institutional setting.
3. I am not purchasing any product for human consumption, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any other form of in-vivo use.
4. I am not purchasing any product for veterinary use, animal testing, or administration to any living animal.
5. I possess the necessary qualifications, training, and authorization to handle the products I am purchasing in a safe and compliant manner.
6. I understand that all products are sold “as-is” for research purposes and that Southern Aminos makes no claims regarding suitability for any other purpose.
7. I assume full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use, and disposal of all products after delivery.
8. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Southern Aminos, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from my use or misuse of any product.

05 Prohibited Uses

• Human consumption — Oral ingestion, injection (intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous), inhalation, nasal administration, transdermal application, or any other method of introducing the product into the human body.
• Animal use — Administration to any animal, including pets, livestock, laboratory animals, or any other living creature, for any purpose whatsoever.
• Self-medication — Use as a treatment, cure, prevention, or mitigation of any disease, condition, symptom, or health concern in humans or animals.
• Drug development without authorization — Use in the development, formulation, or manufacturing of any drug, medication, or therapeutic agent without proper regulatory authorization.
• Recreational use — Use for recreational, cosmetic, bodybuilding, athletic enhancement, or any non-research purpose.
• Resale for prohibited purposes — Reselling, distributing, or transferring products to any third party known or suspected to intend prohibited use.
• Use outside a laboratory setting — Handling or using products in any environment that is not a controlled, equipped laboratory or research facility.
• Use by unqualified persons — Handling or using products without proper training, credentials, or institutional authorization.

06 Prohibited Guidance Policy

Southern Aminos employees, representatives, and agents are strictly prohibited from providing the following types of guidance or information to customers:

• Dosage recommendations or calculations for any purpose
• Administration methods, protocols, or techniques
• Treatment advice for any medical condition in humans or animals
• Guidance on cycle length, frequency, or stacking protocols
• Comparisons to prescription medications or therapeutic outcomes
• Advice on side effect management related to in-vivo use
• Recommendations regarding product combinations or mixtures for biological use
• Any information that could reasonably be interpreted as encouraging or facilitating prohibited use

6.1 Permitted Support Inquiries

Southern Aminos support staff may assist with the following types of inquiries:

• Order status, tracking, and delivery information
• Product availability and catalog information
• Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and testing documentation
• Storage recommendations for laboratory preservation
• General product specifications (mass, purity, format, reconstitution solvents)
• Refund, return, and replacement requests in accordance with our policies
• Account and billing inquiries

07 Product Classification

All products sold by Southern Aminos are classified and labeled as follows:

• Not a drug: No product is classified, marketed, or intended as a drug, medication, or pharmaceutical agent under any regulatory framework.
• Not a dietary supplement: No product is classified or intended as a dietary supplement, food, or nutritional product.
• Not a medical device: No product is classified or intended as a medical device or diagnostic tool.
• Not FDA-approved for human use: Products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any equivalent regulatory body for safety or efficacy in humans or animals.
• Research chemical: All products are classified as research chemicals intended for in-vitro laboratory study only.

08 Customer Responsibilities

Customers purchasing from Southern Aminos assume the following responsibilities:

8.1 Handling & Storage

• Store all products in accordance with the specifications provided on the product label and Certificate of Analysis.
• Handle all products using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and laboratory safety protocols.
• Maintain products in a secure, access-controlled environment away from unauthorized persons.
• Dispose of all products, packaging, and waste in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

8.2 Legal Compliance

• Ensure that the purchase, possession, and use of ordered products is legal in the customer’s jurisdiction.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances.
• Obtain any required permits, licenses, or authorizations prior to purchase.
• Understand and accept that Southern Aminos does not provide legal guidance regarding the regulatory status of any product in any specific jurisdiction.

8.3 Institutional Authorization

Customers purchasing on behalf of an institution, organization, or employer must have proper authorization to do so. Southern Aminos reserves the right to request verification of institutional affiliation and research authorization at any time.

09 Limitation of Liability

Southern Aminos expressly disclaims all liability arising from the use or misuse of its products beyond their intended research-only purpose. Specifically:

• No health claims: Southern Aminos makes no claims, representations, or warranties regarding the safety, efficacy, or suitability of any product for any purpose other than in-vitro research.
• No health guarantees: No product is guaranteed to produce any specific biological, therapeutic, or physiological effect.
• No liability for misuse: Southern Aminos is not liable for any injury, illness, adverse reaction, or death resulting from the misuse, abuse, or improper handling of any product.
• No liability for third-party actions: Southern Aminos is not responsible for the actions of third parties who obtain products through a customer.
• No liability for regulatory changes: Southern Aminos is not liable for any changes in law or regulation that affect the legal status of any product after the time of purchase.

10 Enforcement & Violations

10.1 Account Termination

Southern Aminos reserves the right to immediately and permanently terminate any customer account, cancel pending orders, and refuse future service without notice or refund if there is reasonable suspicion that a customer has:

• Used or intended to use any product in a prohibited manner
• Requested prohibited guidance from Southern Aminos staff
• Resold or distributed products to unauthorized third parties
• Provided false or misleading information regarding their identity, qualifications, or intended use
• Violated any term of this Policy or our Terms & Conditions

10.2 Reporting Obligations

Southern Aminos may report suspected violations of this Policy, including suspected illegal use or distribution of research chemicals, to relevant law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry fraud prevention databases at its sole discretion and without prior notice to the customer.

10.3 Cooperation with Authorities

Southern Aminos will fully cooperate with any law enforcement investigation, regulatory inquiry, or legal proceeding related to the misuse, illegal distribution, or prohibited use of its products. Customer information may be disclosed pursuant to a lawful subpoena, court order, or regulatory demand.

11 Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Southern Aminos LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, proceedings, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to:

• The customer’s use or misuse of any product purchased from Southern Aminos
• Any violation of this Research Use Only Policy
• Any violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Any injury, illness, or harm caused to any person or animal as a result of the customer’s actions or negligence
• Any claims by third parties arising from the customer’s resale or distribution of products

12 Third-Party Content Disclaimer

Southern Aminos does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, including but not limited to:

• Blog posts, articles, or forums that reference Southern Aminos products
• Social media posts, videos, or discussions about peptide use
• Third-party websites that sell or discuss research chemicals
• Customer reviews or testimonials that describe personal experiences

Any third-party content that describes human or animal use of Southern Aminos products is unauthorized, inaccurate, and violates our policies. Such content should not be interpreted as guidance, endorsement, or permission to use products in any manner other than as described in this Policy.

13 Policy Updates

Southern Aminos reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Policy at any time without prior notice to customers. Changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website. The most current version of this Policy is always available at southernaminos.com/research-use-only-policy.

Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Southern Aminos website or placement of new orders after any Policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14 Final Agreement

This Research Use Only Policy, together with the Southern Aminos Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between Southern Aminos and the customer regarding the purchase and use of all products.

If any provision of this Policy is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The failure of Southern Aminos to enforce any provision of this Policy does not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it at a later time.
