01 Purpose

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms, methods, timeframes, and responsibilities associated with the shipment of products ordered from Southern Aminos LLC (“Southern Aminos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these shipping terms.

02 Shipping Locations & Restrictions

Southern Aminos currently ships to all valid physical addresses within the United States, including all 50 states and U.S. territories (where FedEx delivers).

2.1 Address Requirements

• A valid physical street address is required. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or freight forwarders.
• Customers are solely responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout.
• Addresses are verified electronically through our shipping system. If an address cannot be verified, the order may be placed on hold until the customer provides a valid address.

2.2 International Shipping

At this time, Southern Aminos does not offer international shipping. We only fulfill orders destined for U.S. addresses. Attempts to route orders through third-party freight forwarders or international reshipping services are done at the customer’s own risk, and Southern Aminos assumes no liability for products once they leave the U.S. shipping network.

03 Order Processing Times

Order processing times are based on the time the order is placed, not when payment is authorized.

• Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST (Mon–Fri): Processed and shipped the same day.
• Orders placed after 2:00 PM CST: Processed and shipped on the next business day.
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays: Processed on the next business day.

Processing includes order verification, payment confirmation, quality checks, packaging, and carrier handoff. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your package has left our facility.

04 Shipping Methods & Rates

Southern Aminos offers multiple shipping options to meet your needs. All rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and selected speed.

05 Shipping Protection

During checkout, customers may add Package Protection to their order for an additional fee. This optional service provides coverage for the following transit-related issues:

• Lost in transit: Package shows no movement for an extended period or carrier confirms non-delivery.
• Damaged in transit: Product or packaging arrives visibly damaged.
• Stolen after delivery: Package marked as delivered but not received by the customer.

06 Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an automated email containing your FedEx tracking number. You can use this number to monitor your package’s progress directly on the FedEx website or app.

• Tracking information is typically updated within 1–2 hours of the package being scanned by FedEx.
• Estimated delivery dates provided by FedEx are estimates and are not guaranteed by Southern Aminos.
• If you do not receive a tracking email within 24 hours of your order’s shipment (excluding weekends), please contact cs@southenaminos.com.

07 Address Accuracy & Verification

Customers are solely responsible for providing an accurate, complete, and deliverable shipping address at the time of checkout. Southern Aminos is not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or additional fees caused by incorrect address information.

7.1 Incorrect Address Provided by Customer

• If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for additional shipping fees to reship the order.
• Southern Aminos will contact the customer to confirm the correct address before reshipping. If the customer does not respond within 5 business days, the order may be refunded to the original payment method (minus non-refundable charges).

7.2 Address Modifications

Address change requests must be submitted before the order enters fulfillment. Once an order has been packaged and a tracking number generated, the shipping address cannot be modified. Southern Aminos is not liable for orders shipped to the address provided at checkout.

08 Packaging & Discreet Delivery

All Southern Aminos products are packaged with the utmost care to ensure they arrive safely and discreetly:

• Discreet outer packaging: Products are shipped in plain, unbranded packaging. There are no external markings, logos, or descriptions indicating the contents.
• Secure inner packaging: Products are individually wrapped and protected with appropriate cushioning materials to prevent movement and damage during transit.
• Tamper-evident seals: Product seals remain intact during shipping to guarantee the product has not been opened or tampered with in transit.

09 Temperature-Sensitive Products

Many of the products offered by Southern Aminos are temperature-sensitive research compounds. To maintain product stability during transit, we employ the following measures:

• Insulated packaging: Products are wrapped in thermal insulation to buffer against temperature fluctuations.
• Climate control additives: Depending on the season and destination, ice packs or thermal packs may be included to maintain a stable temperature range.
• Expedited shipping recommended: During extreme weather conditions (summer heat or winter cold), we strongly recommend selecting expedited shipping to minimize transit time.

10 Shipping Exceptions & Delays

While Southern Aminos and FedEx strive to deliver all packages on time, occasional delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. These include but are not limited to:

• Weather events (hurricanes, snowstorms, extreme heat/cold)
• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, wildfires)
• Carrier operational issues (sorting facility delays, vehicle breakdowns, staffing shortages)
• Customs or regulatory holds (rare for domestic orders but possible in certain jurisdictions)
• Rural or remote delivery locations that require extended transit times

Shipping delays caused by these factors do not constitute grounds for a refund, chargeback, or free expedited reshipping. Southern Aminos will monitor delayed shipments and communicate with the carrier to expedite delivery whenever possible.

11 Shipping Claims (Lost, Damaged, Stolen)

If your package is lost, damaged, or stolen during transit, the resolution process is governed by our Refund, Return & Replacement Policy. In summary:

• Lost Packages: Must be reported within 7 days of the expected delivery date. A 15-day carrier investigation will be initiated.
• Damaged Packages: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the packaging and product.
• Stolen Packages: Must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery. A police report and signed declaration of non-receipt are required.

12 Policy Updates

Southern Aminos reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website. The most current version of this Policy is always available at southernaminos.com/shipping-policy.

Continued use of the Southern Aminos website or placement of new orders after any Policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13 Final Agreement

This Shipping Policy, together with the Southern Aminos Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and Research Use Only Policy, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement regarding the shipment of products. By placing an order, you accept full responsibility for the shipping address provided and acknowledge that shipping fees are non-refundable.
